The Summit Primary Centers at Wilson and Jefferson schools opened their doors in September 2008 to the district’s preschool and kindergarten students. These newly constructed state-of-the-art facilities provide Summit’s newest students with innovative early childhood learning programs in settings designed to stimulate and inspire young children.

The culmination of a multi-year planning and construction project, the Summit Primary Centers are an important addition to the district’s commitment to a superior educational experience for all of Summit’s students.

Schedule for delayed opening for Wilson and Jefferson Primary Center's
What Delayed Openings Mean for Kindergarten:
On a delayed opening, the AM Kdg. drop off starts at 10:00 AM and students
attend school from 10:15 AM to 12:45 PM. PM Kdg. drop off starts at 12:35 PM
and students attend school from 12:45 PM to 3:15 PM.
What Delayed Openings Mean for Half-Day Preschool:
Please note that in the event of a delayed opening, the AM preschool classes will
be cancelled.  The PM preschool classes follow a regular schedule.
What Delayed Openings Mean for  Full-Day  Preschool, Kindergarten  â€“ 2
Giamalva and Kindergarten - 2 Belluzzi:
The preschoolers in the  full day program at Wilson Primary Center and
Kindergarten  - 2 Giamalva and Kindergarten  - 2 Belluzzi at Jefferson Primary
Center will come in at 10:15 AM and dismiss at their regular time.

Kinderquest parents Please note: If your child is in the PM Kindergarten or Kinderquest, please make arrangements to have your child picked up at NOON.  Kinderquest follows the school district’s schedule.
